Practice Tip #6 – Practice patience

On certain days we may find our sits to be spacious and relaxing, while others are filled with racing thoughts and distractions; this is natural. It is unrealistic to expect ourselves to be able to transform all of the things we struggle with overnight or even in a couple days. This week, practice bringing patience when you’re on the cushion. Notice when impatience arises and observe it, no need to push it away or hold on to the stories that come with it, simply watch it with mindfulness. You can allow it to be there, and give it space to be there without engaging with it. See what happens when you try this practice this week  🙂
