February 8th: Verse 17 of Reflections on Silver River

First half: Paul, Senior teacher
Second half: Paul, Senior teacher

This week we will work through Verse 17 and its commentary in Reflections on Silver River, Ken McLeod’s translation of Tokmé Zongpo’s Thirty-seven Practices of a Bodhisattva.

Here’s Verse 17:

Even if your peers or those below you
Put you down to make
themselves look better,
Treat them respectfully as if they were your teacher:
Put them above you – this is the practice of a bodhisattva.

See you Wednesday!
